Mijn huis is daar in 2018 gebouwd.<br \/>\nDe wijk is erg nieuw. Tot 2013 was er in het betreffende gebied een sportpark en een stukje industrie.<br \/>\nVeel Edenaren bewaren warme herinneringen aan hun voetbalavonturen op dat sportpark.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monumentje<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In September 2025 is in het park (toevallig recht tegenover mijn huis) een klein monumentje onthuld als herinnering aan die tijd.<br \/>\nZie hier voor een filmpje van die gebeurtenis.<br \/>\nEen en ander verscheen ook in de krant, en de weken erna was er elke dag wel iemand die het monumentje kwam bekijken en soms heel ge\u00ebmotioneerd allemaal foto&#8217;s maakte.<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qlNNlaWdyco?si=_7CbS4UYyzvFeG4l\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; height: 259px;\" \/> <\/a> <div class=\"tiled-gallery-caption\" itemprop=\"caption description\"> de plaats van het monumentje <\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <!-- close group --> <\/div> <!-- close row --> <\/div><\/p>\n<p><strong>Oude luchtfoto voetbalvelden<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Onlangs kreeg ik van iemand een oude luchtfoto waarop de voetbalvelden goed zijn te zien.<br \/>\nIk weet niet precies het moment waarop de foto is gemaakt, maar links bovenin zie je de atletiekbaan achter de Reehorst. Die werd in de winter onder water gezet en dan kon er geschaatst worden. Dat herinner ik me nog wel&#8230;<br \/>\nZo rond 1990 (?) is die atletiekbaan omgezet in een parkeerplaats en zijn in dat hele gebied huizen gebouwd. Dus de luchtfoto is van v\u00f3\u00f3r 1990.<br \/>\nHieronder die luchtfoto, met wat verklarende tekstjes.<br \/>\nLet ook even op het gebiedje rechts van de voetbalvelden; tot aan de Reehorsterweg. Dat leek me leuk om te maken.<br \/>\nMet als voor-situatie die oude luchtfoto en als na-situatie de huidige toestand.<br \/>\nDat laatste haal je natuurlijk makkelijk uit Google Earth of zo.<br \/>\n&#8216;Probleem&#8217; is dat de moderne &#8216;lucht-opnames&#8217; vanuit een satelliet worden gemaakt en dus &#8216;loodrecht&#8217; boven de aarde. De oude luchtfoto is vanuit een vliegtuig gemaakt, zo&#8217;n beetje vooruit (dus schuin naar beneden). En misschien vloog het vliegtuig nog wel een beetje scheef ook. Dat heeft allemaal tot gevolg dat de oude luchtfoto wat &#8216;vervormd&#8217; is en in ieder geval niet precies passend kan worden gemaakt op een Google Earth plaatje. En dan werkt zo&#8217;n voor\/na schuif-foto ook niet mooi.<br \/>\nDus aan de oude luchtfoto &#8216;had ik niets&#8217; voor zo&#8217;n voor\/na schuif.<br \/>\nMaar gelukkig heeft Google Earth ook een soort &#8216;tijd-machine&#8217;. Je kunt ook oude plaatjes zien. Voor het betreffende gebied lukt dat tot eind 2005. Van de periode daarv\u00f3\u00f3r heeft Google geen beelden. In ieder geval niet voor iedereen beschikbaar. Maar in 2005 waren de voetbalvelden nog volop in gebruik (de atletiekbaan bij de Reehorst was al weg).<br \/>\nDe onderstaande schuif-foto laat dus mooi zien hoe het hele gebied is omgezet naar onze woonwijk.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Voor: Google Earth december 2005. Wij hadden toen net het koopcontract getekend voor de plek van ons nieuwe huis.<br \/>\nBijna het hele gebied was nog &#8216;woest en ledig&#8217;.<br \/>\nEr stond nog een goal. Zo&#8217;n beetje naast de plek waar ons huis moest gaan komen.<br \/>\nEven aannemend dat die doelpalen nooit verplaatst zijn, was het een goal van het B-veld.
